Thinking of my favorite pizza throughout this challenging hike. Very grateful for great hiking weather. Cool cloudy start sun was out but not oppressive and steady breeze. As advertised lots of steepness and ups and downs . Started at 8 AM and reached El Capitan at 11:10. Returned to parking lot at 2 pm. My poles were great asset and I highly recommend them. Great views throughout.
