Chip off the ole block

Beautiful afternoon stroll.

The sandy 100 yd trail passes through the shade of large oak trees in green pasture like setting that takes  you to a paved maintenance road that is littered with poop bags from lazy animal owner who can’t or won’t take it with them, the same scenic road that leads you to the top of Mt. Woodson.

Once a tranquil mountain sprinkled with granite boulders that mostly  only climbers used to hone their crack climbing skills and is now unfortunately an unsightly tourist attraction.

A que line forms with dozens of pedestrians waiting patiently to have their picture taken atop the infamous Chip rock.
