Climbing Kendrick
For my second peak on the Arizona Summer Six Pack of Peaks Challenge, I decided to climb Kendrick Peak. I figured the elevation and distance would be a good test for me before I attempt Humphreys Peak. The trail was in great shape and I soon found myself at the old fire lookout tower. After enjoying the views from the tower, I explored the nearby cabin. Unfortunately, on the way down, I lost an AirPod in the brush along the trail’s edge. With that aside, the hike went great, and I was feeling confident about the ascent of Arizona’s highest peak!
