It was a bit cloudy and windy on Black Butte today, and I was really wishing for gloves on the descent, but it was a great hike! Great views along the ascent. Lots of people and dogs, parking wasn’t bad, and the wildflowers were plentiful: yellow balsamroot, larkspur, lupine, some kind of lily, and something red I couldn’t identify. Recommended hike!
