This was an okay day out in Henry Coe, heading up to Mt Sizer and around the loop. Overcast skies made everything a bit drab. Short Cut Trail is indeed difficult, though I don’t know that this is really any harder than the six-peaks loop of Mt Diablo—which is a better hike.
