Coming back to Cucamonga

The last time I had hiked Cucamonga was in 2019 so this was the time I wanted to revisit it. The parking at both the trailhead and along the street was crowded in the morning so I left and came back later around 1100H when I found a parking spot at the trailhead parking lot. The late start however meant that I would have to limit myself to Cucamonga Peak for this hike. The weather was good. There were several hikers out on the trail today and I met some friends on the way back as I was nearing Icehouse Saddle. But the summit was not crowded, in fact other than a camper who was camping that night, there was no one else when I got to the summit. I rested, took my photos, and the camper offered to take some of my photos on the rock below the true summit, and then I headed back down.
