Conquered Black Mountain

I arrived at the gate at 5:30 am and was 3rd in line waiting for the gate to open at 6am. Quickly there  became a line of cars behind me.  This hike was my third hike of the challenge.  I completed Mt Umunhum and Mission Peak and by far Black Mountain was the longest and hardest. The last stretch is about 2 miles and was the toughest.  Unfortunately, there was a lot of smoke so I didn’t get much of a view.  I love this hike and will do it again on a much clearer day.
