Continuous Stair Master

A continuous stair master. Didn’t realize there are other trailheads which were much more gradual but from this trailhead it was a 1293 feet gain in 1.5 miles- it was  really steep!

Our 2nd peak for the day after Hazard Peak.
lots of wildflowers along the trail. One area with oak trees for shade, afterwards it was fully exposed until the peak.

There was an “End of trail” mark at a bench which most were taking pics at. Noticed tho at AllTrails map, that wasn’t the real peak. So we headed climbing a bit more towards the left side reaching the peak close to some big rocks with lots of scrambling to reach it.
