It’s beginning to smell a lot like Christmas!
The majority of this hike is on an access road, so be mindful of your surroundings. I spotted no fewer than 3 trucks hauling away beautiful and freshly cut Christmas trees!!

Oh Mylanta! After hiking High Point the day before, my legs were not ready for the first 2+ miles of elevation gain. Once we got to the wooded section I was feeling more and more ready for Christmas. The trail at this point got pretty buggy, which was surprising because it was a cool day.

Overall, the trail is in excellent condition.
