Bugs were a little worse than usual this year and started becoming active by ~8:30am. By 10am I was on the breakfast menu ???? even with bug spray. The views still made up for it all. Very much enjoyed the hike. Not many people on the trail. I’m glad I got an early as it was getting hot by early afternoon on the exposed portions of the trail. There were several families playing in the creek towards the end of hike. Nice place to come and cool off if you live in the area.
