The journey to Cucamonga Peak was relatively easy—at least for my companions. I still found it painful, but they told me that because it was a cloudy day, we might be able to see a sea of clouds from the summit. That goal kept me going. Sure enough, the sea of clouds at the top was truly breathtaking and made it all worthwhile.
