Good hike going up, last mile was tough. Going down the switchbacks from the peak was treacherous. Loose rock, witnessed lots of falls by people descending to fast. I was sliding using poles. Saw a couple of diamondback rattlesnakes ON THE TRAIL descending from Ice House Saddle. Watch where you step !
Saw a lot of people at the photo op rock with the sign and then leave, yet failed to go to the real “peak” to the left about 200 ft.
Views were great and overall rewarding.
