Cut the switch backs! I do not care!

Late post. We hiked up for my birthday! Sadly the day before a huge storm hit and Caltrans closed the Ballard on the 2-hwy about 3 miles away…. We walked and the road was full of giant boulders. The trail had FULL SNOW and required crampons and an ice axe. I am happy I had a helmet because a ball of snow fell from a tree and hit me very hard. There was so much snow the American Flag was buried!
