We hiked up to Cuyamaca in what I would consider the best of circumstances… the day after a fresh snow. It was the best experience and I have to say, for a peak I was not looking forward to climbing… arriving this morning and seeing everything including the town of Julian, covered in a fresh blanket of white… was just stunning! Probably one of my favorite hikes of the year!
