Cuyamaca aka White Out at the Top
Also on this hike
Started at Paso Picacho State Park. Entry fee about $10; you can pay at the kiosk at the entrance. We took the Azalea Glen Trail to the very rocky Conejos Trail and then up the steep paved road to the top. It was very chilly and foggy and no one had any interest to find the summit sign, if there even is one. We went down the paved road into the campground, had lunch at the picnic tables at Paso, and then crossed the street to hike up Stonewall which had an almost equally non-existent view. Total hike was 12.1 miles. Elevation gain. 2,703′. You can also hike up the road from site #69.
