Hey everyone!

We started our hike at 7am we took the Cuyamaca Peak trail via the Azalea Glen Loop trail route that we found on All Trails. This added mileage but I think it was worth it! Beautiful views and blooming flowers and you can hear a small stream trickling on part of this route. We got slightly off trail at Azalea Springs so check your map when you get here. This trail meets up with the Conejos Trail. There are a lot of loose rocks here so take you time! The last part of the route is on the fire road. We reached the summit and then returned down the fire road. It took us about 4 hours to complete the 7.7 mile loop (plus our accidental detour lol).
