Cuyamaca Peak

Hiked this peak with my two hiking friends. We are doing the challenge together. Started and hiked the fire road the whole way. Lots of little flying bugs even with bug spray. We started shortly after 7am and it got hot. Lots of sun exposure with shaded stops along the way. Beautiful views from the top. No marker at the peak. Ranger on fire watch pointed out land marks. Couldn’t see to the ocean this day, but it was gorgeous all the same. No other hikers on the fire road. Easy day parking for $10.
