Cuyamaca Peak – #3 of 2022 Challenge

There are several different trail options to reach the top of Cuyamaca Peak, but we wanted to bring our dog which limited us to the fire lookout road from the Paso Picacho campground. This route was not optimal because it was all along a paved/gravel fire road. We both personally prefer a true trail. At the top there were some patches of snow on the side of the road which our dog loved! On this hike I was not feeling very well but was still able to complete the trail without too much difficulty.
