Cuyamaca peak

Started out around 7am.  I came in from the Los Vaqueros trailhead until it intersected the trail for Cuyamaca Peak.  Chose this trailhead hoping it would be open and to avoid the $10 fee at the campground.  Its busy parking area were hikers, bikers and horseback riders all seem to converge. I didn’t see any closed trail signs but there was a large tractor doing some work in the trees beside the trail.  Beautiful day for a hike and beautiful views from the top.  Elevation gain was relatively easy but the elevation is noticable for us lowlanders.
