Cuyamaca Peak from Green Valley campground

I did a figure 8 route, 15 miles total, see map (the three noted areas have fallen trees blocking the trail, but one can easily go around). Not the most direct route to Cuyamaca peak, but a gradual ascend/descend and very scenic. Also shaded 60% of the time. The bugs were really annoying in some sections though, so head net would be a good idea! I wish I bought mine because I ended up with a bug flying in my left nostril despite constant swatting, yuk!

Definitely one of the most scenic and interesting routes that I did in Cuyamaca Rancho SP.
