Cuyamaca Saturday but no Julian Pies

Began at 9 20 and finished at 12 40. Gorgeous day w temp in parking lot at 72 when I returned. I had done this hike 2 times previously and had taken the fire road up and down both times. About 2 miles in  you can veer to right and connect w Conejas trail. So much better route. These old knees and hips don’t like the pavement!
