More snow that expected. Hiked Azalea Loop up to Azalea Springs without crampons. From this point forward, Katoola Exospikes used for comfort in the snow.  Conajos Trail has a few limbs down across the trail, but easy to cross. At mile three, a lot of snow melt making a narrow creek of the trail. A few deep areas of snow. Finally, arrived at the paved fire road at it was also covered with snow. Arrived at the summit.  Because of all the snow covered trails, we took the fire road down the campgrounds. The day was beautiful. Temperature range was 46-55. The final two tenths of a mile down the fire road was free of snow.
