We did this loop backwards! We wanted to be on the dirt trail on the front end and be on the paved road on the second part, coming down. It was a great choice for us! We wouldn’t have enjoyed the paved part going up as much. Great views at the peak! Again, we were alone going up and passed just a few on the way down.
