Diablo Calls: I Answer….Again !

It was yet another of those beautiful summer time of the year that we decided to go for this exciting hike. We hit the trail pretty early so as to avoid the afternoon temperature on return.  I did the same trail couple times in previous years so was nothing was unexpected about it. Just that one of my buddy was doing for the first time so wanted to keep it at a easy pace. As always, enjoyed every bit of the Diablo ambiance and made it to the top in decent time. It took us around 4.5 hours to go up and little less than 4 hours on return. Enjoyed the summit as it was clear sky and with fantastic views across the Bay Area. There were number of bikers, hiker and few tourists as well who took advantage of the beautiful day to explore the Diablo park and Mt Diablo.

As during the previous summer hikes I opted to enjoy an ice cream at the visitor center along with the lunch. Did click some memorable snaps and reached back the trail head around 4.00 pm. Over all a great experience..another day another Diablo summit.
