Brutal straight-up 3000 feet in 3 miles, to North Peak, from Morgan Territory Road. (Overall 4300 vertical and 10.4 miles roundtrip, including a big drop between North PEan and Diablo summit). Steep enough we lost traction and slipped, in many places, going up and down. I’ll take a gentler route next time! Route: https://www.strava.com/activities/2363257254

    We started at a little pulloff on Morgan Territory Road at 9:15AM. Back to the car at 6PM, including a side trio to Mt Olympia. I did Mitchell Canyon last year, and it was much less steep!
