Didn’t take it for granite

Started at about 1:30 and finished at 5:30. Rain in the area threatened to wash this hike out, but it broke up and stayed away from the trail. The changing skies added some extra flavor to the hike though! It starts off easy for a out 2 miles but then gets steep in a hurry, gaining about 1000 feet in just 1.5 miles. Then it’s easy for the final leg to the viewpoint. Great addition to the challenge!
