There was zero parking at 9am at Bald Mt parking.  So we drove to the top and hiked down to the start and then back up.  The flowers were pretty and the ground was dry.

    I did it that way, too, and for the same reason! I thought it would be hard climbing the last half of the hike, but the trail is so well graded it was a snap.
