Early start with the pups to Ontario Peak

Got an ear start at Icehouse Canyon Trailhead, because I knew it would be a mad house in the later hours. It was perfectly overcast to keep us nice and cool. A little breezy at the saddle, but nothing a nice windbreaker couldn’t handle. There was one small (15 feet) of snow, which the dogs loved. It was their first time seeing snow, so they were jumping around and eating snow. Got to the peak easily with no issues on the trail. Coming back down was an adventure with all of the people coming up and a lot of dogs. It was a great day for me and my dogs.
