This was the first time to try Strawberry Peak and was a very pleasant hike. We, my husband (Tom) and I, started at off about 6:30 am and 53 degrees with a nice breeze.  The first 2 miles are very gentle until you come to the Strawberry Peak sign and that’s when it becomes a real hike!  Overall, I really enjoyed the hike as the sun was at my back on the way up, the weather had a cool breeze with an occasional gust and a relatively low altitude.  Round trip logged 7.65 miles and 2,030 ft of elevation gain overall (Max 6,145 ft, Min 4,625 ft).
