Easy Mt Umunhum hike

Part of my training for 29029 Everesting coming up.  I had been working from home during Covid-19 and fell off the routine so Mt Umunhum is a good one to start back on.  The elevation gain is not difficult (~1,100 ft) and the trail is nicely marked.  I did start after lunch so it was very warm at 88 degrees.  I have done this trail twice before, and always in the morning, so I thought it had more shade than it did.  During midday, about half of the hike is exposed but there is also a good amount of shade.  Overall, this is an easy hike, and I’ll do it again, but make it more challenging by starting at the Hicks Rd parking lot, which will make the total mileage about 15 miles versus the 7.7 miles.
