Oh boy, this one is difficult!!! Quite steep. The tenth mile is steep uphill when you’re exhausted. The last 1 1/2 miles to the top are the worst…probably because you keep thinking, “it has to be just over this ridge,…” over and over again. Be in good shape. Taking lots of breaks isn’t always easy because the ground is so steep. Bring poles. I fell multiple times without them. Glad I did it, but I have no desire to repeat it.
