I have done this hike before, almost 2 years ago. And i could not finish only made it to the halfway post and had to turn back. The soreness and fatigue from that lasted a week. This time was different, whether it was my mental toughness was better or i was in better physical shape. But i was able to complete it to the mile 5 marker!!! i attempted to hike to the summit and get that wonder photo with the altitude marker, but my legs are just so spent, and i still had to make it back to the car. I was proud of myself for completing this mountain.
That’s a tough hike, good job on staying safe and making it further than before!
