This is a very challenging hike. Now, I totally believe why this is the toughest hike in San Diego. Bring a lot of water and Gatorade if possible. Even though we hike at the end of October, the sun was killing me. Also, the uphills are brutal, so be prepared. I would give this a 10/10 in terms of difficulty.
