El Cajon Mountain bugs

Started out 730 am and powered through it just quick enough to get above the fog and watch that roll out like a way. Gorgeous.

Brutal ups and downs but powered through to the top in under 3hrs. While charging up we heard multiple rattlesnakes in the brush just by the trickling stream about 2/3 up. While coming back we heard the same… must be a snake hang out. As we were coming back 10-11am ish the bugs were just out of control. Advise a face net. Also as we were coming back it was pretty hot… and emergency services were called for someone up the mountain.
