Great humbling hike!
Consider myself an avid hiker. Older (just turned 64) but feel good.
Warm day 83, and a very hard hike.
Had 100 ounces of water and ran out!
Lots of up hill and down hill both ways.
Took me 6.5 hours but stopped at mining caves which adds some distance.
Good times and a great challenge. I did this hike as 1st in the six-pack of peaks challenge!!
