1st peak of 2020 in the bag!
This was my first time hiking El Cajon Mtn and really enjoyed the challenge! Hiked on Saturday, 2/8, and could not have had better weather. A little chilly when starting at 7:30, but warmed up in no time and remained comfortable all day long. This was my first San Diego hike that I brought a hiking pole and was really glad I did as it came in handy with some of the steep and slippery inclines and declines.
Will definetely do this one again to go up to the El Capitain preserve!
