El Cajon Mountain Trail with Pups

A lot of the trails were washed out so climbing the steep hills were challenging at times.  The conditions were sunny and became warm as the day progressed. The last part of the trail heading to the peak had a lot of boulders that had to be navigated. It was a challenging trail both on the way out and heading back in.  The dogs really enjoyed the water on the trail and off the side of it.
