El Cajon (snakes snakes everywhere snakes)

Brought a friend who is not an avid hiker. She got blisters but had bandaids. We took longer than anticipated because we both did not practice and it was hot (85°F) and we saw about 5 snakes on concrete and resting on rocks. Going back was brutal. Just when you think you only have two miles back to the car, more hills and one more snake hissing at us on the way back to the car.
