El Cajon, you indecisive SOB

Today felt more challenging than the 1st time summiting last year. El Cajon, we going up or down? Or up again…no, down. Overall the trail is in good condition despite the recent rain. A few mosquitos and bees enjoying the patches of bloom. Luckily the weather was on our side majority of time – cloudy and cool breeze with pockets of sunshine and heat on a few sections for the descent. I’m very tired and everything hurts. This hike is tough.
