Elden Chewed Us Up

We started before 7am and it was gorgeous in the high 50’s. But it heated up quickly and was in the 90’s by the time we finished 4.5 hours later. That made the descent extra brutal. The ascent was steeper than I imagined. We were super grateful for the trees that provided shade while we were climbing. All in all, it’s a pretty great climb and the views from the top make it worth it.
