Elden Lookout

This hike was so easy compared to hiking Bear mountain the day before. A perfect breeze, much cooler temps and the trail is very manageable. It’s actually a great trail if you use hiking poles because it’s mostly dirt compared to a mostly rock trail like Bear Mountain. It’s very windy and loud at the top and you have a beautiful view of Humphrey’s! It did take us about 4.5 hours but we did spend some time soaking up the view from the top! Not at all crowded but the hikers we did pass were very friendly!
