Elden Lookout Trail

Elden mountain is a great hike, especially in the early morning hours. I completely misjudged this hike, thinking it wouldn’t be anything special. But I was wrong! The nature on this mountain is so so beautiful.
There are plenty of switchbacks, a constant incline, and a bit rocky, but it was not too terribly hard.
There were only 4 other cars in the parking lot when I started, and several more when I got back down, but not too many people on the trail.
It was very windy and a bit chilly at the top, but still a beautiful and clear day to look out across Flagstaff and the surrounding areas.
I’m very happy I got to do this hike and see how wonderful it actually was!
