Elden to Aspens

A warm sunny day, with some big breezes at the summit!  Completed with my 17 y/o son, who has been working on his hiking fitness and it’s paid off!  He led mom up the mountain 🙂 but vetoed adding the extra mileage to do Fatman’s loop on the way down.  A good hike with the kiddo!

Trail was in good condition, a little loose rock & scree to watch out for but nothing major.  Bugs were present at the top, closer to the tower.  Views were a bit hazy.
