We embarked on our journey up Summit Trail of Piestawa Peak before 7:30am. The warm sun cast a golden glow, illuminating our path as we ventured higher. The rugged terrain was transformed by a blanket of emerald green grass, a vibrant testament to the recent rainfall. Amidst a bustling trail filled with fellow hikers seeking solace and serenity, we found  a sense of unity in leaving behind the heavy burdens of everyday life. Despite the brevity of the hike, its rejuvenating effects were profound, infusing us with renewed vitality to start the weekend.
