Emerging from Cloud Blanket

Started the trail at around 9am with very favorable weather when considering the time of year. The first half was somewhat steep but the last half definitely was the steepest I have encountered. With it being overcast I noticed as I was climbing to the top the sun was gradually breaking through until it was totally clear. At the apex you can see a huge blanket of clouds surrounding the valley with a couple of peaks poking through. It was definitely challenging but getting to the top had a big sense of accomplishment.
