Epic Baldy!

I’ve been off-trail due to a foot injury for months now. Did a few short hikes around Chantry Flat in the past few weeks. Then I heard Baldy was open! Well, I learned quickly on this hike that this one’s a thigh-crusher. Thought at various points I was going to have to turn around, because my legs were dying. But I kept at it, and sure enough, I summited eventually. Met lots of good people on-trail. Weather was VERY warm and sunny, but a cool breeze helped out from time to time.
