Fall vibes and pumpkin Pie estewa Peak Summit

This was hike #1 for our little group….not only for this challenge,  but in general .  So it was a bit of a challenge.  Not long, but it is pretty steep,  and nonstop.

The weather was nice, maybe low 70’s, but 90% is in the sun, no shade.

Parking at this trailhead is generally hit and miss,  often you may have to park a little ways from the trailhead (up to maybe 1/2 mile depending on the day and circumstances) unless you go after noon, when it is hitter, then you can find spots easier.

All in all, a success for Peak #1.  Will probably have to work our way up to some of the harder peaks coming up.
