Final Hike: That Devil Mount Diablo

Finally completed my sixth peak today with Mt Diablo! I was sick last week and was feeling it on the way up. I was definitely slower than my normal pace, but I was determined to finish before it starts to rain again and things get busy with the holidays.

It was a great day with nice weather. The wind was even kind of warm. The air though wasn’t great. On the drive over I couldn’t even see Mt Diablo due to the smog hanging out in the air. Thankfully, it seemed to clear a bit throughout the day, but the views weren’t as good as I was hoping.

The top has some nice picnic tables, bathrooms, and places to refill your water. The visitor center was really nice as well and inside it is where the actual summit is. This time of year it was very nice and warm inside too.

Great hike as my finale! Excited to be done!
