After a few failed attempts (first- closed due to construction; second- closed due to COVID-19) at trying to hike this mountain, we finally made it to the top!!! It was definitely worth the wait, the views didn’t disappoint. (I guess when it’s the second highest peak in SD, the views should be pretty good ????) There were lots of wildflowers still in bloom, plus large pine trees overhead in areas. The way up was a challenging gradual climb. I very much recommend this hike- very peaceful. #5/6 peaks
