First challenge accomplished!

Beautiful views, great hike, with 3,800 ft a real challenge. All 4 of us had hiked up Mount Diablo before, but never via this route. Trail conditions have been mostly great, the weather was perfect. This is not a hike you want to do during the heat of the summer, even though there is ice cream at the peak.
